The concept is to increase the useful space offered to events held at the Santa Clara Convention Center while adding sponsorship opportunities.

The concept also reduces the maintenance cost incurred by the Center and District. Currently water is leaching into the palm root base and damaging  palm trees.

There are various platform materials that would allow the 150ft. x 40ft. area to be maximized. The space could be developed to be a self sufficient XeriScape that would be validated as "Green".
